About Us.

Brett & Eliza met in Colorado in 2006. Brett had already been working at Vista Verde Ranch for over a year since graduating from Indiana University. Three girls from Vermont arrived to work for the summer as housekeepers and dining room staff. It was only a matter of weeks before Brett and Eliza were hanging out during breaks, going for hikes, and flirting over meals.

They spent over four more years enjoying all that Colorado has to offer. They lived on an alpaca farm, working as caretakers of a 40+ herd of alpacas while also enjoying fine meals and cookouts at a yurt with their wonderful landlords.

They skied in sweet powder, rode their bikes, and hiked tall mountains. They also made many wonderful and lasting friendships, particularly through Brett's job at Black Tie Ski Rentals.

Though the ski town life was sweet, Eliza was far from her home state of Vermont. When the perfect job opportunity came to fruition, they decided to pack up and head east. For the past two years, they have called Montpelier, Vermont home. They still ski, ride their bikes, and hike mountains. They also love growing their own vegetables, boating on Lake Champlain, and enjoying new and old friendships. In 2011, they rescued a little black dog and named her Lupita, after one of the guard dogs on the alpaca farm. She joins them on as many adventures as possible.

Brett & Eliza are looking forward to their next great adventure: marriage. They look forward to celebrating with their wonderful friends & family in September.
